Reactors: For his contributions to establishing the technical basis for estimating the energy release from the interaction of molten materials with the coolant in both water and liquid metal-cooled reactors and thus to the capability of evaluating reactors for their ability to with stand loss-of-coolant and reactivity transient accidents.
