Fax: (301) 903-4154 David Lesmes is a program manager for the Environmental Remediation Sciences Division. His research background is in environmental geophysics and hydrogeology. Prior to joining ERSD, in April of 2006, he worked as a program manager (IPA) in the Geosciences Research Program in DOE’s Office of Basic Energy Sciences (2003 to 2005) and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at Boston College (1995 to 2002). He has also worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and at the Chevron Oil Field Research Center in La Habra, CA. He received a B.A. in Physics from the University of California at San Diego and a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Texas A&M University.
