The purpose of the brochure is to introduce researchers, research subjects, laboratory officials, and others involved in human subject research to regulations and policies established to protect human subjects participating in research. The brochure covers topics such as informed consent requirements and institutional review board responsibilities. It offers a brief overview of human subjects policies and regulations.
