The DOE SBIR program greatly facilitated the development of our company's products by providing us with critical funding and R&D planning. We were able to research and develop instruments and their accompanying supplies without having to raise venture capital or having to give away majority control of our stock. The instrument technology that we developed has allowed us to become a serious competitor in the DNA purification market. Currently with over $900,000 in instrument sales per year, our instruments are world competitive in both cost and ease of use. These instrument are also more compact, faster and produce DNA of equal or better quality to any other procedure or instrument on the market. Our technology is covered to two issued patents.
